Here are some pictures from 2007, August and September.

One of the biggest benefits to us on working in Yellowstone was that we had an extended time to experience YNP. We got to see the last of summer and early fall. We witnessed the rut of the bull bison and the bison breeding season, the rut of the bull elk and heard them bugle. We got to see elk and deer in full antler, and watched both elk and bison gather their harem. True that in the 2 months we only had 16 days off, but we had every morning and evening for 2 months in the park. Sunsets and sunrises. Mild weather and some below freezing nights. Calm days and windstorms that blew so hard you could hear trees being blown over, sounding like one shotgun blast after another. So many great days.
