The correct choice means a lot
This is, in my opinion, where most tripod users make their first error in the pointing process. Don't select Registration - Installer or User, or anything other than Antenna Pointing. That's all you're doing. Pointing the antenna, or dish. If you've done the DSSatTool, or Point4020, all the data needed by the modem is already in modem memory. How do I know it works? I've done it this way close to 100 times.

If for any reason you start in the Registration - Installer process, you must go all the way through the process. You can't stop part way through and expect to get online.
