Adjust the dish azimuth
I start the tweak process with azimuth adjustments. Push out on the left side of the dish, and watch the OPI. If the signal goes up, adjust the dish that direction, if the signal goes down, pull back on that side of the dish, if the signal goes down, you may be right on azimuth. If the signal goes up, adjust. Continue for a bit, until you cannot improve signal by adjusting azimuth, then move on to elevation. You can do a little of each, azimuth and elevation, moving back and forth. The object is to peak that signal strength to the highest number you can hit. Unless you're at the edge of the footprint, or there is a problem with equipment, the process of tweaking the dish should take about 2 minutes.

If you're having problems finding the satellite, check for moisture in the feed horn. If that's clear, check to make sure you have the numbers right. Did you read the azimuth, elevation and skew right. Was the skew plus or minus. Did you select the right satellite in the drop down list on the DSSatTool, or Lookangle.
