Back to Electric Stuff Page At the pedestal in an RV Park with 50 amp service. After testing the rig at home on GenSet and 30 amp shore power, I wanted to see if all worked OK on 50 amp power. Got permission from a new RV park just down the road from where I live to pull into a site, plug in and do a quick check. This is the volt reading at the power pedestal. Now I've always said that 50 amp was 240 volts, looks like I was wrong. According to my meter it's 238 volts. ;-)) NEXT
