The Adventure Continues

Lightning strikes at Montrose, Colorado on July 26, 2006. This was my first attempt at capturing lightning pictures. Using my Canon 20D with an 18 -55 mm lens. With the camera on Manual, I sat the ISO at 400. Shutter at 30 seconds and f-stop at f/8 with manual focus, I then focused to near infinity. Put the camera on the tripod, and snapped image after image, just letting the luck of the draw work for me. These are the best 8 out of 39 images. I'm going to keep trying to get better and better pictures, including daytime strikes.
