Adding a little height to the rear of the coach. What's the safe way to do it?

Putting the Blocks to Use

I don't like to put anything under the tires that will not cover the whole width of the tire. In addition I never, ever block only one of the rear duels. I believe that when you put a narrow board under a tire you cause damage to the basic structure of the tire. If you weaken the steel belts in the tire the chance of tire failure increases. So, if I have to raise the rear end and need to use blocks to do that, I always put the same number of blocks under each tire. Always.

An additional note. The rear tires of the MH must always be in contact with something solid. Remember, it's the emergency brake that keeps a MH from rolling, so never use blocks under the jacks and raise the rear tires off the ground.
