Remember to Unplug the Cord

Montrose, CO. July 21, 2006. Got ready for my shower this morning, and no water pressure. Couldn't figure out what happened, because last night the water pressure was great. Walked out to the side of the rig, and there was nothing wrong with my hoses. Just then the lady next door walked around the corner of her rig, and I asked her about the water pressure, she pointed down the way, and said "No pressure left, the guy down the way broke the water line when he left." I thought he had run over the stand pipe, but when I walked down to the site, this is what I saw. He'd gotten in a hurry to catch up with his travel buddy, and pulled out with the cord still attached to the park pedestal. To make matters worse, when he plugged in, he had ran the cord around the back side of the pedestal, and the water pipe. When he pulled out, he broke the stand pipe, pulled the pedestal over, and because his cord kind of knotted on the pedestal, it pulled clear out of the motorhome.

What a mess. I wonder how much damage he did to his rig. First time I've ever seen this happen.
