| Hannibal, MO and the Mississippi River from Lovers Leap.
Lovers Leap is high on the side of a lime stone cliff
just south of Hannibal. Legend has it that an Indian maiden
and brave, from different warring tribes, (sound familiar)
leapt from this cliff while being chased by one of the
tribes. Don't know about the legend, but the view was
spectacular. |
